Loved the convenience of the milk being delivered and the glass bottles rather than plastic. The milk had a wonderful taste. But we had issues with the skimmed milk being off more times than not.
Sadly we had to stop the milk deliveries. It’s an issue they need to resolve.
We love the idea and principle behind your service and have had no issues with the deliveries. However, the phone app and web site is not as intuitive as it could be. It would be nice if the app would give an instant view of the next delivery items on the home page, including day and date. I have had occasion when I have ordered an item but when payment is requested, a message comes up saying there is an 'error, try again later'. after 8 attempts it accepted payment and I since found out from my bank statement it had actually taken the payment at each attempt. It can also be very slow. Other than that, no problems. Thank you.

I was just asked to rate Modern milkman, even though I left about a month ago after just 1 week. I joined after hearing the pitch about reusing bottles and buying local, which I want to start doing more of. However, one of the claims was “milk fresh in the morning”. For me, this was a false statement. I found that the milk etc can be delivered from 10pm the night before. I found my milk (by chance) on my doorstep at about 11pm one night - had I not been out, it would have sat there for about 9 hours, which, if the weather is warm, then it is hardly “fresh”. Other products are also left that length of time in the rain, warmth etc. The company were great, understood my concerns, apologised and cancelled all orders going forward. They explained that they need to deliver at that time to meet demand. I say “get more drivers and deliver it fresh in the morning” - I won’t be going back until they do. Sorry planet.
It’s so good to have a reliable milk and produce delivery again, after years without. It is so convenient to pay online too. I feel I am helping the environment too, with reusable glass bottles.
great service and good quality products. Had one issue, resolved immediately. couldnt recommend more highly
It's fantastic now real bottles rattling in fridge when we open and close door also the variety of things that are available from yourselves
Very happy with delivery times, frequency & bill payment confirmation. Occasionally, milk is not left in crate provided. This causes problems for elderly customer. Otherwise, would give 5 stars.
So far the products have been excellent, the eggs are so delicious and fresh. The sour dough bread smell and taste top class and so much nicer than shop bought. My family loves the juices specially the tropical and my son looks forward to the ???? milkshake coming. We have tried to crusts, pineapple and diet cola quofable and scumdidillyumtous. If you could source outdoor reared thick back bacon. My partner said you make the perfect breakfast. I wish the government ruled no more plastic bottles and thank you Modern milkman and all the staff for a fantastic job.
Bad service wouldnt recommend if you want your milk. Cant say they been when milk bottles been outside for 2 weeks. Still waiting to hear back.
Milk arrived with finger holes in both bottle caps. Not a great first experience.
Let us down on delivery twice and never pick up empties, we were only with you for two weeks.
